| Resumen : | El presente caso de estudio tiene como finalidad determinar la viabilidad del turismo gastronómico en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, mediante un enfoque cualitativo, permitiendo establecer una fundamentación teórica sólida, acompañado de un estudio de mercado. Además de realizar un diagnóstico de la situación actual de cada uno de los atractivos turísticos principales, reconociendo cuál de ellos posee las características necesarias para la implementación del turismo gastronómico. Finalmente se define los criterios de viabilidad y se identifica los atractivos con mayor potencial para fomentar el turismo gastronómico en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, que con una buena planificación y gestión se podrá aprovechar de mejor manera esta nueva modalidad de turismo. |
| Descripción : | Abstract: The present case study was carried out in order to find the viability of gastronomic tourism in the metropolitan district of Quito, through a theoretical foundation, to analyze the viability of tourist attractions, a market study and an analysis of the offer was carried out. The case study is carried out through a bibliographic investigation of reliable sources, an analysis of surveys that was carried out, thus managing to identify the main tourist attractions and with greater viability for gastronomic tourism. It was possible to conclude through a feasibility analysis of gastronomic tourism in the tourist attractions of the DMQ that this new activity is viable within the district since it meets all the criteria and these can be used in a positive way. |
