    The general objective of this research work is to promote ecological awareness, through the teaching of Law in university students. Therefore, its design responds to the mixed approach, considered as an ideal alternative in the field of higher education due to the topics that are addressed in it. This approach consists of the combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, which will allow us to answer the research questions that are linked to the necessity and importance of promoting ecological awareness in order to prevent the consequences derived from human activities that cause damage to environment. Thus, the type of method used in the quantitative approach is descriptive, since it seeks to describe statistics that allow knowing the effects on the environment due to pollution; On the other hand, for the qualitative approach, the analytical method was used since cases and documents that contribute to obtaining the required results will be analyzed to demonstrate the negative consequences that environmental pollution produces and how this, in turn, affects beings alive, getting to demonstrate with this, a cause and effect relationship. In this way, the results obtained showed that promoting environmental awareness, especially in the university field, through Law, contributes to the implementation of policies aimed at preventing environmental pollution.
