    The purpose of this essay is to analyze conciliation in matters related to infractions and the difference it has with mediation at the time of breach of the agreement; since mediation and conciliation have the value of a final judgment;This means that in the event that the agreement is not fulfilled, the affected person could go before a judge and have either his act or his agreement executed, following the approach the judge or the prosecutor could not revokethe conciliation agreement. In addition, the Regulation for conciliation in matters related to traffic offenses published in Official Gazette No. 673 on January 20, 2016 and the Resolution of the Constitutional Court, which was issued on April 23, 2019, judgment No. 9-15CN / 19. In order that at no point in the process the rights ofthe victim or the offender are violated. In Ecuador there is a regulation that regulates traffic, the same that in many occasions does not cover all the needs to solve conflicts since several accidentsoccur daily, in this context it is necessary to look for new alternative methods where it can be solved conflicts in a fair and equitable manner. Those involved often do not know how to act since they think they are goingto be detained or on many occasions they do not know about alternative methods of conflict resolution, which are easier and faster to carry out.
