Considerciones de la apicabilidad del voto facultativo en el Ecuador, como mecanismo de democracia

Resumen
La realización de este ensayo es importante debido al debate que hoy en día existe en la sociedad ecuatoriana; el sufragio debe ser facultativo para el grupo que comprende a las personas entre los 18 a 65 años de edad y ya no debe estar sujeto a ninguna multa u obligatoriedad. Otro tema recurrente y correlacionado al anterior, parte de la problemática sobre democracia plena; se da cuando personas deciden o no ejercer su derecho al voto. En nuestra constitución y normativa electoral, el sufragio universal permite ejercer el derecho al voto de todas las personas, sin ningún tipo de discriminación; por ello el acto de ejercer ese derecho a sufragar, debería ser parte de un deseo subjetivo de hacerlo o no, razón por la cual no debería ser obligatorio ni ser sancionado por no ejercerlo, desde un punto de vista más crítico. Finalmente, el presente ensayo pretende ser un aporte para fortalecer a la clase política ecuatoriana y a las diversas instituciones públicas encargadas de la participación ciudadana y el control social.
Abstract
Carrying out this essay is important due to the debate that exists today in Ecuadorian society; Voting should be optional for the group that includes people between 18 and 65 years of age and should no longer be subject to any fine or obligation. Another recurring theme and correlated to the previous one, part of the problem of full democracy; occurs when people decide or not to exercise their right to vote. In our constitution and electoral regulations, universal suffrage allows everyone to exercise the right to vote, without any type of discrimination; For this reason, the act of exercising that right to vote should be part of a subjective desire to do so or not, which is why it should not be mandatory or penalized for not exercising it, from a more critical point of view. Finally, this essay aims to be a contribution to strengthen the Ecuadorian political class and the various public institutions in charge of citizen participation and social control.Finally, this essay will focus on it from the perspective of strengthening the Ecuadorian political class, with the various public entities in charge of citizen participation and social control.
