Resumen
The most important purpose of criminological profiling is, without a doubt, to offer relevant information that can help the success of a criminal investigation. In this case of investigation, the protocols to be followed in the actions of a criminal profiler are observed. It is evident that a profiler must know the fixation of the scene of the events, in what contexts it is carried out, how it is developed and what are its limitations; On the other hand, profiler techniques are very suitable for investigations of violent and sexual crimes, crimes committed in series or in general, those in which the criminal's conduct is especially relevant, such as Femicide. In the criminal profiling of the murderer, a strong hypothesis must be raised that helps determine the credibility of the theory raised and achieve the approximation and effectiveness of the clarification of the case. Criminal profiling is aimed at criminal conduct and its circumstances (verification of the crime and discovery of its perpetrators) and whose purpose is to provide the necessary evidence to the competent authority so that it can prosecute and punish such conduct. In the case of a criminal investigation, the existence of a criminis notice is required (any means through which the information of the commission of a possible criminal event arrives) or indications that, at least, suggest the occurrence of a punishable act. in a temporal context and a legal framework, and the use of specialized techniques.
