Resumen
The study of forest fires in Ecuador has relevance in the area of law at the time of knowing the protocol of how to act in the event of an accident, as well as the rights and obligations established in the Constitution, which declares nature as a protected legal asset, which regulates the actions of natural or legal persons against nature. The Secretary of Risk Management of Ecuador through its statistical reports show that forest fires are one of the ecological events that occur more frequently in the summer seasons, it follows from these considerations as a general objective of the research, design a risk management model for socialization from the area of law for the prevention of forest fires, which will be made aware of the rights of nature as well as the causes and effects that damage to this produce. The study was based on a qualitative documentary research approach. It was concluded that although there are statistical reports, as well as strategic plans to prevent and mitigate forest fires continue to occur and endanger species and unique protected areas in the world, because there are more rules does not mean that forest fires decrease, but the fact of empowering ourselves on the issue, being the first ones in charge of protecting the legacy of future generations.
