dc.description.abstractLos accidentes de tránsito son la segunda causa de muerte más frecuente dentro del país, representando anualmente 33 muertes por cada 100 mil habitantes, Esto convierte a Ecuador en uno de los países con mayores tasas de mortalidad en América Latina, según el gobierno ecuatoriano, por lo cual, resulta importante el estudio de la criminología para determinar tanto las causas de los accidentes de tránsito dentro del país, como su prevención. La importancia de los peritos en la investigación de los accidentes de tránsito, es que intentaran reconstruir de manera teórica las etapas del accidente, desde la aparición de sus locales hasta la parada total de los vehículos, interpretando todo el conjunto de huellas en estrecha relación con todos los objetos y sujetos implicados en el suceso. Durante este proceso, el perito utilizará todo su potencial tecnológico, así como su formación profesional y experiencia para descartar la posibilidad de simular un delito diferente al ocurrido. Por otra parte, los peritos realizarán una inspección dinámica de manera lineal a lo largo de la vía donde se produjo el accidente, con un límite de 50 metros fijados tras la última huella descubierta desde el punto de reposo de cada participante en el sentido de su circulación inicial. La inspección del lugar de los hechos debe ser detallada, debe contener, la fecha y hora de la pericia, los datos de los involucrados, en conjunto con todos los datos relevantes del caso, como por ejemplo la descripción y estado de la persona u objeto peritado. Cabe mencionar que, en Ecuador en los últimos siete años se han reportado 574 muertes por accidentes de tránsito por esta causa, siendo el 2022 el año con mayor incidencia de muertes con 111 víctimas mortales.es
dc.description.abstractTraffic accidents are the second most frequent cause of death within the country, representing annually 33 deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants. This makes Ecuador one of the countries with the highest mortality rates in Latin America, according to the Ecuadorian government, therefore, it is important to study criminology to determine both the causes of traffic accidents within the country, as well as their prevention. The importance of the experts in the investigation of traffic accidents is that they will try to reconstruct in a theoretical way the stages of the accident, from the appearance of its premises to the total stop of the vehicles, interpreting the whole set of traces in close relation to all the objects and subjects involved in the event. During this process, the expert will use all his technological potential, as well as his professional training and experience to rule out the possibility of simulating a crime other than the one that occurred. On the other hand, the experts will carry out a dynamic inspection in a linear way along the road where the accident occurred, with a limit of 50 meters set after the last footprint discovered from the point of rest of each participant in the direction of their initial circulation. The inspection of the place of the facts must be detailed, it must contain the date and time of the expertise, the data of those involved, together with all the relevant data of the case, such as the description and state of the person or object being inspected. It is worth mentioning that in Ecuador in the last seven years 574 deaths have been reported in traffic accidents for this cause, being 2022 the year with the highest incidence of deaths with 111 fatalities.en_US
