Abstract
The present study called "Problems and circumstances regarding human mobility as a result of the exodus: xenophobia and aporophobia in Ecuador", currently migration is a phenomenon where people move from one place to another, either within their own country or to a different country, to live temporarily or permanently, they can move for different reasons such as the constant search to improve their quality of life. However, many migrants go through difficult situations such as discrimination, rejection and even violence. These acts lead to xenophobia and aporophobia, which have profound and negative impacts on society. They encourage discrimination and social exclusion. These attitudes erode the social cohesion, creating divisions and tensions between different groups, affecting the social and economic well-being of the most vulnerable, limiting their opportunities for integration and development. The presence of xenophobia and aporophobia also reflects and perpetuates structural inequalities, impeding progress towards a more just and inclusive society, limiting its well-being and growth. As such, this study focused on analyzing the problems and circumstances regarding human mobility as a result of the exodus. In the first instance, what related to the rights of human mobility in the Constitution of Ecuador was identified. Subsequently, the situation of migrants was examined. foreigners in Ecuadorian territory and finally a legal proposal was proposed that contributes to mitigating the problems of people in vulnerable situations of mobility, additional conclusions and recommendations are included.
