Resumen
The present degree work was carried out using an Action-Research methodology with the objective of designing a proposal for the personnel selection process for the commercial area of the pharmaceutical company Bioamiga Cía. Ltda. In this work, the necessary knowledge was provided to analyze and diagnose the current situation of the company considering indicators that allowed to measure how the company is in the recruitment and selection subsystem, in addition to analyzing internal factors (Strengths and Weaknesses), as well as also external factors (Opportunities and Threats), being an exploratory, descriptive and field research method that was used in this project, since descriptive statistics and a problem tree were used to demonstrate the results achieved. It was possible to design the proposal for the application of the Assessment Center as a tool that favors the Staff Selection subsystem, allowing through observation to evaluate the performance, behavior and competencies of the applicants that they show during the development of the exercises and the interview by competences, in order to reduce the risk of error in hiring decisions and allow the company to hire personnel who fit the required profile according to the competencies that the company has and is looking for.
